At Victor’s Tires and Custom Wheels, we do a lot more than simply outfit your car with the best wheels and tires. Our trained service professionals are there for you when you need your tires serviced, when you need your brakes checked or replaced, when your car is due for its regularly scheduled oil change, and even when your engine is making a weird rattling noise that you can’t identify.
If your vehicle needs help, trust the service professionals at Victor’s Tires and Custom Wheels.
Since faulty tires can increase the risk of an accident, having your tires serviced regularly by experienced professionals is a good idea. The best way to keep your tires safe and long-lasting is through regular tire rotations, alignments and balancing.
At Victor’s Tires and Custom Wheels, providing reliable brake repair in Salt Lake City is one of our goals. We’ve been successful at this goal because we’re honest and transparent about our customers’ brake needs.
Maintaining a proper oil change schedule is critical to your car’s continued performance. Every car needs the oil to be changed frequently, but not everyone knows the differences in oil. Oil in an engine lubricates the engine and keeps the engine from running hot and overheating.
A car mechanic provides maintenance, repairs, diagnostic testing, and inspections to cars and small trucks. An auto mechanic works on a car’s engine, transmission, drive belts, and electronic systems that include brakes, steering, and accident-averting systems.
When Victor started, over 20 years ago, there wasn’t this type of work for Hispanics. Americans did almost all tire shops, mechanics, and car sales. Victor’s Tires grew by serving the Hispanic population of Utah, and the thing that made it work was the attention to detail, care of every customer, and giving the best price for the best work.
Victor came to the US because of his joy in traveling and discovering new things. Victor has always set daily goals and worked to achieve them.
Victor’s Tires started because Victor was trying to take care of people. He didn’t see it as a business at first, just a way to help others. A lot of people were asking him for favors and had questions about tires. He started only by separating bad tires from the good used ones.
Eventually, people started asking for specific tire sizes and asking if they could buy them. At first, he would find good used tires and give them away. Helping others find tires started with just one or two requests a week. When he started getting asked for tires 5-6 times a week, he realized that this could be a business.
He was hesitant to start the business because he just wanted to help people. But he realized he couldn’t keep giving away tires. Fortunately, his customers insisted on paying for the tires and his services, so Victor’s Tires began.
Victor made a deal with an old boss to purchase good used tires and resell them. Quickly he found that not only could he sell them, but people had to pay to get the tires installed on their vehicle too.
Victor knew that his first customers were worried about price, and because they were his friends, he wasn’t going to recommend more than what they needed. He would go the extra mile to find quality parts to lower the costs for his customers, a trait that is almost unheard of in the automotive and mechanic industry.
The business quickly grew to nine locations and has added two more recently because of its core values of attention to detail, care of every customer, and giving the best price for the best work.
Outside of tires, Victor actively supports his community through a restaurant, Victor’s Tires, a convention center, sponsoring youth soccer clubs, and donating money and books.
Victor attributes the success of the business to his family, his wife and four children. Their help, not only in the business, but reminding him of what is most important in life.
